To make this luscious tea, we use licorice root, a naturally sweet and delicious ingredient that is sweeter than sugar cane, and combine it with spectacular spices. Cinnamon, orange peel, star anise and sarsaparilla are all combined with rich licorice root to make a sweet and spicy tea. This iconic and irreplaceable recipe has been in high demand since we created it in the 1970s, so you know you've got a champ. Some consider it a dessert tea, while others like it as a sore throat lollipop. And since it's an herbal tea, it's the perfect after-dinner treat. Personally, we think this licorice root tea is an anytime treat, good for whenever the flavor calls.
