Description: Blackcurrant (known as cassis to the French) is the fruit's best kept secret. But not for long. These deep purple berries create a surprisingly ruby red spread. We don't hold back - we add whole currants by the case, as evidenced by the nearly whole berries and texture of this spread. Tart, vibrant, fresh: There's a mouthful of words to describe a flavor from a recipe that's 98% full of organic black currants and white grape concentrate (ahem, and no refined sugar). Blackcurrants are best known for their perfectly balanced tangy and sweet taste. Many believe these little black berries originated in Poland, so we picked ours from there. Ingredients: Organic white grape juice from concentrate (water, organic white grape juice concentrate), organic blackcurrant, apple pectin, ascorbic acid (vitamin c), citric acid.
