Description: Sapino's syrup of yesteryear is made from an Amerindian formulation composed of balsam fir gum and prickly ash conifer extracts. Heirloom Syrup is particularly effective in relieving sore throats, coughs and other symptoms caused by the flu or cold.
Ingredients: Balsam fir gum (abies balsamea, resin), red spruce extract 1:1 (picea rubens, bark), eastern hemlock extract 1:1 (tsuga canadensis, bark), prickly ash extract 5:1 (zanthoxylum americanum, bark), water, molasses, alcohol, acacia.
Use: For adults: 1 tablespoon (15 ml) 3 to 4 times a day. For children aged 9 and over: 1 teaspoon (5 ml) 2 to 3 times a day. Wait at least 4 hours between doses.
