Description: This variety is popular for its round roots 7.5 to 10 cm in diameter and its attractive white and purplish coloring. Its flesh is white, sweet and crunchy. A delight for amateur gardeners. Turnips grow well in cool weather. Sow them from April 15 to May 15. For a second harvest in the fall, sow at the end of July, beginning of August. The spacing between rows is 30 to 45 cm and between plants 8 to 10 cm.
