Organic green boston lettuce seeds (un) / Organic green boston lettuce seeds (un)
Variety description: Popular variety with crisp and tasty leaves. Heat tolerant, slow to bolt. Heavy apple, medium size. Lettuce is the first crop of spring. Resistant to cold, it can be sown as soon as the soil is worked. For an early harvest, sow in a warm or cold layer and transplant directly in May. Germination will be faster and more uniform if the temperature is between 10 and 15º C. A rich and well-drained soil is ideal for its cultivation. For the main harvest, sow directly in the ground in rows spaced 40 to 45 cm apart. Depending on the variety, leave 20 to 25 cm apart between plants. Adding decomposed manure, compost or a fertilizer with a high level of nitrogen is beneficial. Needs full sun and constant humidity. Mulch to reduce weeds and maintain soil moisture. Harvest it when firm and preferably early in the morning.
