Description: Its beautiful, just firm and juicy flesh contains very few seeds. Its moderate acidity is also very pleasant. The good-sized, more or less conical fruits are about 7-8 cm long and form clusters of 5-10 tomatoes. Each takes on an elongated shape with wider shoulders halfway between those of 2 types of Italian origin: San Marzano and beefsteak. The moderately growing plant reaches 1.2-1.5 m in height in one season in Quebec. Harvest normally begins around the end of August. For plants grown in the field, it is recommended to pick it immediately when it turns red, because it becomes fragile as it ripens. It also grows very well in greenhouses.
Use: This tomato is really used for all sauces: coulis, sauce, dough, salad, in the oven, in sandwiches and more.
