Description: The compact, upright plants produce tasty golden yellow beans, without parchment (that tough thread sometimes found on beans) and measuring 12 to 17 cm long. Of French origin, this heritage variety achieves exceptional performance, even in wet and cold growing conditions. The pods with black grains and a delicate flavor. The plants are vigorous and very productive. Also sold as 'Golden Rocky' or 'Rocdor'.
Use: eaten fresh, steamed, sautéed, and in soups or stews. They are at their best when they are still young and thin and their yellow color is still tinged with a little green.
