Description: This species is distinguished from our field strawberries and cultivated strawberries with creamy-yellowish fruits and plants that do not produce runners. It comes from an old line prized for its very sweet fruits produced non-stop throughout the season, until frost. The nectariferous white flowers attract numbers of pollinating insects. Because the fruits do not have a peduncle, they drop by themselves when ripe. In addition, they must be eaten or processed quickly, because they spoil soon after picking. Because of its tiller habit, this exceptional strawberry plant is suitable for growing in the garden box, but also as a ground cover.
