Description: Round, smooth and very white root, tolerant to bolting. Keeps very well in the long term, refrigerated. Sow indoors in early March in light, sandy soil, covering the seed with 3mm of soil. Germination will occur after 3 weeks at 17⁰ C. Prick out into individual pots when the plants are 2.5 cm tall. Towards the end of May, place the plants in the garden in rich soil, at a distance of 20 to 30 cm between the plants in rows spaced at least 60 cm apart. A lack of boron will cause rot in the center of the fruit and hollow roots. Harvest when the diameter has reached at least 10 to 15 cm. Keeps well in winter, in a cool basement.
