Organic large green basil seed (un) / Organic large green basil seed (un)
Description: Sow in March-April indoors, then transplant at the end of May. Love the heat. Tasty and aromatic leaves. At the end of March-beginning of April, sow the seeds of basil, place the seedlings in a bright, heated room, water regularly. Young shoots will appear a week later. The plants will have to be hardened off before putting them in the garden. Harvest the leaves as you need them, starting with the lower leaves, which will encourage the branching of your plant. In July, prevent the plant from flowering: pinch the ends of the stems when the flowers are forming. Basil can be stored either frozen or dried. July-August is the best time to harvest leaves for freezing. You can grow basil in the house during the winter period.
Use: Freshly picked or dried basil is used in culinary preparations such as salads, stews, soups and any tomato-based dish or menu, etc.
