Description: Roasted whole buckwheat is roasted to accentuate its characteristic aromas. It can be used as an accompaniment to replace potatoes, rice and pasta. You can also make a warm and comforting beverage.
Ingredients: 100% Canadian organic buckwheat.
Directions: Bring 1 cup (250 ml) of water to a boil. Carefully pour in 1/2 cup (90 g) of buckwheat. Cover, reduce the heat to low and simmer without stirring until the grains are tender and the water has evaporated (8-10 minutes). Halfway through cooking, you can add 1/2 cup (75 g) of sautéed vegetables. Substitute potatoes and rice well.
