Description: We source the finest organic cocoa beans from the outer tropics of the Andes and the Amazon Basin, working with Peruvian farming communities who grow them sustainably and ecologically. Our raw cocoa powder is obtained by pressing cocoa liquor out of sun-dried cocoa beans to extract the cocoa butter. This leaves a sort of “cocoa cake” which is then ground into a fine raw cocoa powder. Ingredient: Organic cocoa powder.
