Description: Hulled barley can be used to replace rice or potatoes. It is great in soups, stews, it can replace rice in risotto.
Directions: In a pot, add 250 ml (1 cup) of hulled barley to 750 ml (3 cups) of cold water. Cover and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for about 1 hour 30 minutes or until the liquid is completely absorbed. Organic pot barley will keep for about 730 days. It's best to store organic pot barley in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from light.
