The nut is harvested and skilfully separated from the apple by hand, dried in the sun for several days then cooled under the trees, before being shelled and packaged. Cultivating these labor-intensive nuts has allowed entire farming communities to thrive, thanks to our suppliers' sustainable business practices and above-average wages. Unroasted organic cashews are not only very tasty, they are extremely versatile and therefore a great asset in the kitchen. You can eat them straight out of the bag or dry roast them at 325°C for about 15 minutes until golden brown. They make delicious cashew milk, cashew butter, and even vegan cheese! Throw them into your curries and stir-frys for a crispy and nutritious addition.
