Description: Rye is a cereal rich in soluble fiber that can be grown in northern regions. Rye flour contains little gluten, but natural sticky substances (pantosanes) useful for bread-making. It gives a stickier and less elastic dough than wheat flour.
Ingredients: Stone ground organic rye flour.
Use: Use this flour to prepare your cookies, pancakes, cakes, waffles, muffins, breads and pastry. For best results, however, it is best to combine it with wheat flour.
