Ingredients: Aloe, Senna Flower, Angelica Root, Zedoary Root, Ash, Carline Root, Juniper Berry, Myrrh, Rhubarb Root, American Saffron, Hawthorn Flower & Leaf.
Instructions: Macerate the "Herbes du Suédois" in 1 1/2 L of grain brandy (40% alcohol) in a 2 L wide-necked bottle and let it sit for 14 days in the sun or near an oven. Stir daily, as well as before transferring to a small bottle and before use. The remainder can remain indefinitely on the herbs. Fill the liquid into small (tinted) bottles, close them tightly and keep them cool. The elixir will keep for many years. The longer it sits, the more effective it is. Shake before use.
