Description: Curly watercress is an important source of iron, folic acid, calcium, vitamins C, E and A. The seed contains arachidic and linoleic fatty acids. Curly cress or garden cress is a fast-growing edible herb that is botanically related to watercress and mustard, sharing their peppery, tart flavor and aroma. In some areas, curly watercress is known as garden cress, capsicum, capsicum, or poor man's pepper.
Directions: No soaking necessary for this peppery sprout! Germination days of 4-5 days, microgreen of 8-12 days. 1 tablespoon of dry seeds yields approx. 2-3 cups of sprouts. Microgreens- 1 tbsp dry seeds yields approx. 8-12 cups of micro greens.
