Description: Essential oils of evergreen cypress, lemon, patchouli and tea tree are used in aromatherapy for the symptomatic relief of hemorrhoids.
Ingredients: Cupressus sempervirens (evergreen cypress oil) (twig) 35%, pogostemon cablin (patchouli oil) (leaf) 20%, citrus limon (lemon oil) (fruit peel) 20%, laurus nobilis (bay oil) (leaf) 7%, helichrysum italicum (immortelle oil) (flowering top) 5%, melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree oil) (leaf) 5%, mentha x piperita (peppermint oil) (flowering twig) 5%, syzygium aromaticum (clove oil) (bud) 3%.
Directions: Adults (18 years and older): Varicose veins: Add 2-4 drops to 5 ml of neutral vegetable oil and gently apply to the affected vein area and massage over the affected area of the vein up to 3 times daily. Hemorrhoids: Add 2-8 drops of undiluted essential oil with an equal amount of shampoo or liquid soap before adding to bath water. Mix the water gently. For maximum benefit, remain in the bath for 10 minutes. Use 2 drops of undiluted essential oil for the first use and increase by one drop per bath up to a maximum of 8 drops. Do not use undiluted essential oil. For occasional use only. Do not use orally. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes; if this occurs, rinse thoroughly with vegetable oil. Store at room temperature.
