Description: Cracked oat kernels are produced from organic naked oat kernels.
Directions: Cover and cook 250 ml (1 cup) of organic ground oat almonds in 565 ml (2 ¼ cups) of boiling water over medium-low heat for about 50-60 minutes or until the grains are tender.
Use: Substitute oat flakes with organic crushed oat almonds in your muffin and cookie recipes for a bit of novelty, cook it well to obtain a creamy porridge ideal for breakfast. Longer to cook than flakes, you can however cut the cooking time by covering the organic crushed oatmeal with water and letting it soak overnight. Ideal for cookies and muffins. Organic ground oatmeal will keep for approximately 270-365 days. It is ideal to keep them in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from light.
